My wife thinks that I talk to strangers too often. It can be in line at the grocery store, out for a walk with the kids or the table sitting next to us at dinner. I'm like a labrador retriever she says. Secretly I love it, because I don't think we connect with strangers nearly enough. There's something wholesome about those quick interactions, and I welcome them with open arms.

This Corridor Welcome Cap on first sight made me smile, and reminded me of those moments that have become an ongoing joke in our house. The tan garment wash is subtle, but adds texture to the finish.
