Marao

When I was a kid, we had summer vacations at my grandparents in Muskoka. They had converted a cottage into a house at the bottom of a small inlet on a lake. My grandmother took me for a walk one day, pointed to a run-down shack on a tiny island, and told me about the "Mountain Man", a hermit who had lived there for as long as she could remember. I was always super curious about this Mountain Man character, and learned he sometimes stole from locals, who didnt mind knowing he probably needed it. I used to canoe near it to try and catch a glimpse of him. On the morning I successfully had my first Mountain Man sighting, I could swear he was wearing this exact shirt, and this core memory came rushing back when we ordered this shirt. It seems too fitting that this flannel is named Marao, a reference to the mountain range in Northern Portugal.
