Sizing & Fit
Does your clothing run true to size?
Most of our apparel runs true to size, but fit varies by brand and by category — When you land on a product page, check the size guide link and garment measurements before ordering; if a brand runs noticeably small, large, or needs sizing guidance, we'll flag it directly in the product description. If you're between sizes or unsure, email us at info@stompingground.ca with your measurements and we'll help you get it right the first time.
How does footwear sizing work across your brands?
Footwear sizing isn't standardized between brands — a European size 42 fits differently in Paraboot than it does in Kleman. If you are curious about how a brand fits, email us at info@stompingground.ca and we will help provide some insight/comparison’s.
Are all your shoes in men’s sizing?
Most of our shoes are in men’s sizing however we do have a few women’s footwear options. Women’s footwear options will have a W beside the size (example, 7W) or will have a W / Women’s next to the product name.

Returns & Exchanges
What's your return policy?
For Online purchases, we accept returns for store credit or exchange within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unworn and in its original condition. Customers are responsible for covering the return shipping, we cover the shipping for exchange items. For in-store purchases, we accept returns for store credit or exchange within 30 days of purchase.
How do I start a return or exchange?

Product & Authenticity
Are the brands you carry authentic?
Yes — Stomping Ground is an authorized retailer for every brand we carry, from Drake's and Norse Projects to Paraboot and New Balance. Most if not all of the brands we carry should list Stomping Ground as an official stockist on their website.
Do you restock sold-out items?
We can never guarantee restocks but with that said, we try our best to always restock core items from brands that carryover every season. The best way to stay up to date on this is by subscribing to our newsletter/mailing list.
How do I care for raw denim / waxed cotton / leather footwear?
We carry a ton of products that are meant for caring for your garments from brands such as Saphir, Jason Markk, Barbour, and Solovair.

Visiting the Store
Where are you located, and what are your hours?
We're at 728 Bank Street in Ottawa's Glebe neighbourhood. Our business hours are Monday to Saturday 10am–6pm, Sunday 10am–5pm
Is there parking near the store?
There is street parking on the surrounding streets and a paid parking lot in-between Second Ave. and Third Ave.
Do you offer in-store pickup for online orders?
Yes, in-store pickup is an option offered at checkout.
Do you offer alterations or hemming?
Yes, we offer a complimentary hem on all pants purchased from us at Stomping Ground. All you need to do is take them to Third Son Tailor Shop at 796 Bank St. and let them know you purchased the pants from Stomping Ground and set up a customer profile with us.
